Amazing response to the 1st National Conference for Bird of Prey Professionals.
Tickets for the 1st national conference sold out in just 4 weeks from launch, and a waiting list for ‘cancelled or returned tickets’ has been established.
“This is a fantastic response that has taken us slightly by surprise” said Raptor Awards Director Julie Murphy earlier today. “When we committed to booking the venue, speakers and catering for the event we under-estimated how strong the demand for tickets would be”
Delegates will be arriving at the Midlands Venue from all over the country, and enquiries have been received from as far away as Estonia and India.
2018 sees at least three new licensing regimes introduced that will affect various parts of the bird of prey community, including new very demanding licensing of all bird of prey encounters and activities.
The specialist speakers will explore these changes and what threats or opportunities they may represent for bird of prey professionals.
Editor’s note: The 1st National Conference for bird of prey professionals is organised and administered by Raptor Awards Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit expert body serving the bird of prey community
