We have organised two standardisation days as follows:
- 9th February 2017 (North) to be held at Kirkby Thore Memorial Hall. CA10 1UE. Approximately 8.5 miles from M6 (Penrith)
- 16th February 2017 (South) The International Centre for Birds of Prey, Boulsdon House, Newent GL18 1JJ
These are important meetings where your input into the standardisation process is vital to ensuring the quality of delivery and of the Raptor Awards network of members
All network members wishing to deliver the new suite of Raptor Awards Courses should attend one of these events. (Note: there will be a phase-out period for the current ‘Falconry for Beginners Award’ to enable you to complete any candidates in the pipeline)
Arrival / Start time 9.30 for 10.00. – both events
Estimated finish time between 3.30 and 4.00 pm – both events
Refreshments on arrival and throughout the day including lunch (please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements)

- the assessment of candidate competence
- introduction of new online testing to replace portfolios
- assessment of skills – evidence recording and audit requirements
